1 shot gin

1/2 shot lemon juice

1/2 shot simple syrup

Club soda

Preparation

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the banana rum, gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well until chilled.

Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice and top with club soda.

The originally proposed recipe from Bingchat had only 1/4 of an ounce of simple syrup but that was too bitter with the lemon juice so I upped it and it was much nicer.

Garnish with a lemon wedge or a banana slice.

WHY

I foolishly ordered some banana rum online because I really like the taste of banana and i needed to get the order up to $100 so i could get free shipping (yes I am very aware of false economies).
